Crystal Palace will always hold a special place in my heart.  Buck Owens was always so kind to let me come up and do a few songs with him if I came through town.  He passed away on my birthday, coincidentally, and I didn't return to Crystal Palace for almost 10 years.  His son, Buddy Allen Owens took over after his passing; he and band manager/pianist, Jim Shaw, still allow me to crash their party when I'm there.  What a fantastic group of musicians with quite a history.  The Buckaroos are some of the finest musicians I've had the pleasure of playing with!
