SCENARIO:  «Watching a tv show together and they say you have to pick your favorite barnyard animal to be.»

Me: "I would pick......a spider! Like Charlotte from 'Charlotte's Web'! "

Adam: "That's not a barnyard animal."

Me: "She was in the movie."

Adam: " 'Ooolld McDonald had a farm, ee ii ee ii oh.' "

Me: "Look, that spider surpasses your stupid song. She was the star of that movie with her beautiful voice."

Adam : " 'And on that farm he had a spider, ee ii ee ii oh!' "

Me: "She was so good that they made a remake of that movie! "

Adam : " 'With a.... a....' oh that's right. Spiders don't say anything."

Me: "She said plenty and she sang and sang and sang. Cause she was the best barnyard animal."

Adam: "Yup. So when we go to the fair this year, let's go see the spiders in the AG dept. Next to the horses, cows, sheep, flamingos and sloths and poison frogs."

Me: "She was IN the BARN! She lived IN the barn and so she counts."

Adam : ".............................. You know what else they find in the barn? ....... Shit."

 

(Pretty sure that's not a barnyard animal either.)
